Roy E. Ingram
July 4, 1956 – May 7, 2016
Our beloved Roy E. Ingram passed away on May 7, 2016, in his home after a difficult battle with cancer.
He was born on July 4, 1956, to Marjorie and Richard Ingram (both deceased) of Saint Joseph, Missouri. He had three older brothers, Ed (deceased), Dick, and John Ingram.
He graduated from Lafayette High School in Saint
Joseph, Missouri in 1974 and joined the Marines in 1975. He went on to bravely serve his country during the Vietnam War.
He worked in construction for many years as a plasterer as well as Farmland in the waste department before returning to plastering as a crew supervisor.
In the spring he spent his time in the woods hunting Morel mushrooms. He was always the first to spot them and often said he could smell them.
He was a loving husband, protective father and generous Papa to all. He was happiest when his home was full of family and good food, knowing that he was taking care of those he loved.
His is survived by his wife Rosemary Ingram of 35 years; his three children, Jeremy Ingram 34, Melissa Bascue 30 and Cameron Ingram 23; his 7 grandchildren, Marissa, Madison, Asher, Zeth, Dominic, George E. and Maddeline; three nieces; 2 nephews and many more great nieces and nephews.
