The Clallam County Branch of the American Association of University Women has awarded two scholarships this year. The group met for a luncheon and award ceremony on May 6 to honor Madison Critchfield of Port Angeles High School and Katelynn Carter of Sequim High School. These students were chosen due to their academic records, their record of service to school and community, recommendations from teachers, and their future educational goals. Both girls will be attending Peninsula College for two years before completing their studies at a four year college.
