The Sequim City Council is seeking a representative to serve on the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee. This appointee must be a representative of a business that is required to collect lodging tax funds pursuant to RCW 67.28.
This committee consists of five voting members appointed by the city council. The committee chairman sits on the city council, two members are representatives of businesses required to collect the lodging tax and two members are persons involved in activities authorized to be funded by revenue received from lodging tax funds.
This voluntary board meets on a quarterly basis to perform the duties as established by RCW 67.28 and Ordinance No. 2010-018.
