OUUF topic is moving beyond good and evil

The Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 1033 N. Barr Road, Port Angeles, welcomes guest speaker Jessica Star Rockers at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 13. Her message will examine Mary Oliver’s poem “Wild Geese” through a Universalist lens, moving beyond good and evil. Rockers is a ministerial intern at Eagle Harbor Congregation Church on Bainbridge Island and is in her final year of seminary at Meadville Lombard Theological School.

Free clothing available at church for public

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 815 W. Washington St., will hold its seventh annual “Wear and Share” event from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26. There will be clothing, in good condition, for all ages, free to the public. Any leftover items will be donated to Seventh Day Adventists for “God’s Closet.”
