Two Sequim High bowlers just extended their seasons.
Senior Kelsey Van Dyken and junior Karli Furgurson are headed to the district tournament after posting qualifying scores at the Olympic League tourney in Silverdale on Jan. 24.
Van Dyken bowled games of 125, 135 and 156 for a 416-pin total while Karli Furgurson had games of 125, 131 and 104 for a 360-pin total.
The West Central District 2A/3A tournament is scheduled for 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, at Pacific Bowling Lanes in Tacoma.
Four 2A/3A teams qualify for the state tourney, along with an additional six individual bowlers from non-qualifying teams.
Sequim dropped a 7-0 game to league champ Bremerton on Jan. 14 but rebounded with a 6-1 win against North Mason on Jan. 16, finishing fourth in the six-team Olympic League with a 3-9 season record.
