Meredith Parker’s photography shares a perspective of West Coast potlatches, annual Canoe Journeys and Makah Days, as well as local and regional tribal events, such as weddings, births and gatherings of family and friends.
Her work will be on display from May through August in the Peninsula College Longhouse Art Gallery, where Parker is the featured guest artist.
Parker serves as general manager for the Makah Nation providing administration, programmatic and operational supervision to all tribal programs, activities and business enterprises. She also is president of both the Makah Cultural and Research Center and the Potlatch Fund, among other volunteer activities.
