Utility work will see partial closure of West Hendrickson Road — between Kendall Road to the west and Hendrickson Heritage Park to the east — to vehicle traffic from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. from March 12-April 4, city officials say.

A detour will be in place directing traffic around the Hendrickson Road closure during those hours.

The Olympic Discovery Trail will remain open to non-motorized traffic.

There will be no construction or road closures during weekends during this time period; however, motorists, cyclists and pedestrians are encouraged to exercise caution through the affected area and observe all posted signs.

Utility installation crews will be installing sewer and water line extensions along Hendrickson Road to serve a new office building and a future residential subdivision with 57 new homes that scheduled for development this spring.

The work is being done by Westerra Homes, LLC.
