Dahll takes ownership at T&C

Allen to retire
Jeff Allen, a longtime banker, Jamestown S’Kllallam Tribal Gaming Commissioner and Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce, will retire this month after 42 years at the Port Angeles branch of 1st Security Bank. His last day with the bank is July 25.
Allen began his career with Seafirst Bank in Port Angeles in 1976 after completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Washington. Seafirst was purchased by Bank of America in 1986, and Allen became branch manager at the Port Angeles location in 1987.
Throughout his career Allen has coached youth soccer, basketball and baseball, and was an umpire for Little League baseball. He is a former Tribal Council member for the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe, and has been the Chairman of the Tribal Gaming Commission since its inception in 1995.
1st Security invites the community to drop by the bank at 134 W. Eighth St., Port Angeles, during the week of July 22-25 to celebrate with refreshments and to wish Allen a happy retirement.
New wine, open house at Wind Rose Cellars
Wind Rose Cellars has announced that its 2018 Rosato will be released at an open house from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, July 13.
The dry rose is a blend of Dolcetto and Sangiovese grapes sourced from Lonesome Spring Ranch on the eastern side of the Yakima Valley.
The wine will be paired with a smoked salmon dip appetizer for the release party.
