Taizé service slated for Monday

An ecumenical Taizé service for February is slated for 7-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 525 N. Fifth Ave. All are welcome. The service includes song, prayer and contemplation in meditative candlelight. One may sit peacefully in silence or join in the chorus while experiencing the calming effect of being in God’s presence.

Taizé will continue to be held the fourth Monday of the month.

Ash Wednesday at Sequim Episcopal Church

St Luke’s Episcopal Church hosts Ash Wednesday services at 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Feb. 26 in the chapel at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 525 N. Fifth Ave.

An 11 a.m. collaborative service with Trinity Methodist Church and Dungeness Valley Lutheran Church will be held in St Luke’s sanctuary. All services will include a Eucharist.
