An Agnew-area house caught fire twice, on May 12 and 13, with the second blaze engulfing the home, Fire DIstrict 3 officials report.
Assistant Fire Chief Tony Hudson said district firefighters responded to a call at 6:34 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, to the 200 block of Harmony Lane off North Barr Road where they discovered a small electrical fire.
It was extinguished around 8 p.m., he said.
Hudson said fire crews were called back at 2:15 a.m. the next morning to the home fully involved in fire.
The home was abandoned and the homeowner was prepping it for a future demolition, he said.
No one was reported injured, and the cost of damage has not been assessed yet.
Firefighters continue to investigate the cause of the second fire, Hudson said.
