Holland Bare has been named top reader in the Read to Feed program at the New Day Learning Academy.

Holland is the son of Travis and Katie Bare of Sequim.

According to a press release, the students’ reading sponsors raised $200 to donate flocks of chickens to the nonprofit Heifer International.
