Jeanette Hanson died in her Sequim home on Oct. 5, 2020.

She was 68.

Hanson was born Aug. 17, 1952.

No public services are planned. A private inurnment will take place at Ocean View Cemetery, Port Angeles.

Robert Charles Agee

Robert Charles Agee of Port Angeles died at his residence of lung cancer on Oct. 3, 2020.

He was 80.

Agee was born April 11, 1940.

Funeral services will be privately held.

C. Mike Holmberg

June 1, 1941-February 8, 2020

C. Mike Holmberg passed away in Bremerton on February 8, 2020. Born in Bremerton to Carl and Minnie Hoglund Holmberg on June 1, 1941, he spent most of his life in Washington state. Always the entrepreneur, he raised chickens for eggs as a young boy and loved the farming life. He graduated from Sequim High School in 1959, spending his free time working on dairy farms with his best friend Gregg Stone.

He attended Washington State University for a year before giving in to the needs of work. He was a career salesman, retiring from his own business in 1999.

In retirement he purchased some acreage on Whidbey Island where he created a farm with chickens, cows, and a grand garden. He loved all animals. When not working on the farm, he enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by both parents, sister Ann Martin Beam, and adopted son Kevin Holmberg. He is survived by the mother of his children, Marlene Erickson, siblings John (Bernice) and Marilyn Holmberg, sons Eric and Jeff Holmberg, daughter Missy Anderson, niece Waynora and nephew Lance Martin, grandchildren Jessica, Jay, Casey and Haley Holmberg.In his legacy, he will continue to support animals and farmers through the Humane Society, Future Farmers of America and other organizations.

Due to Covid, his celebration of life has been postponed until June 1 (his birthday), 2021, tentatively to be held at the Elks Club in Sequim, WA. Any questions, communications, or contributions to his causes can be directed to Missy Anderson at 360-801-4425.
