Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County (VHOCC) is offering community orientations, open to anyone seeking to learn more about hospice services or is curious about volunteering.
From 11 a.m.-noon on Thursday, April 1, the organization — a local nonprofit that serves communities from Joyce to Diamond Point — offers orientation via Zoom. Pre-register at 360-452-1511 to receive a link to the Zoom sessions.
The organization also offers an in-person orientation in Port Angeles from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, April 2. Call 360-452-1511 to reserve a seat. Masking and social distancing are required.
The organization is particularly seeking volunteers to assist in the office and the equipment loan program.
Founded in 1978, Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County’s mission is to provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support to terminally ill patients and their families, with free around-the-clock registered nursing availability and trained volunteers.
