Anna Plager will present “Woodcock Demonstration Garden – Then and Now – 1987 to 2021” from 10:30 a.m.-noon on Saturday, July 24, on Zoom.
Plager will discuss highlights of the past three decades at Clallam County Master Gardeners’ showpiece demonstration garden, located at 2711 Woodcock Road.

Many photos from the archives will show the original bare field growing into the bloom-packed pathways of today. She will talk about major challenges of the past as well as some creative new ideas coming into fruition. The primary features of the garden continue to evolve with volunteer efforts.
Plager will also discuss the management structure and relationship between the Master Gardener Foundation of Clallam County which owns the garden and the institutional guidance provided by promulgators of the Master Gardener Program, the WSU Extension.

Plager is an alumna of the 2019 Master Gardener Program class and was inspired to work on consolidating their 25-year history during the COVID year of non-group activities.
