Local artists look to bring the best of their “happy accidents” at an exhibition during the 16th iteration of the North Olympic Fiber Arts Festival Exhibition this fall.
“Bumblebunching – Warped, Twisted, & Imperfect,” a juried fiber arts exhibition and a component of the Fiber Arts Festival, goes on display Oct. 1-3 at Sequim Museum & Arts, 544 N. Sequim Ave.
Entry deadline is Sept. 7. Download an entry form and full prospectus at fiberartsfestival.org.
Bumblebunching, exhibit organizers say, are the jumbled loops created by the bobbin when stitching has improper tension while machine sewing. This is open to all fiber arts media, and seasoned or newer creations are welcome.
