Richard Terwilliger – Terwilliger, 21, of Sequim, was charged Feb. 17 with first-degree assault and first-degree robbery. On Feb. 14, Terwilliger allegedly punched another man in the face in the Jack in the Box parking lot, brandished an air-pellet pistol and hit the man with the handle of the gun, according to a report filed by Sequim Police. According to the report, Terwilliger admitted to exchanging blows with the man, indicating he was trying to retrieve money the man had stolen from him. Police booked Terwilliger into the Clallam County Correctional Facility on $10,000 bail.

Corey Borden – Borden, 19, of Sequim, also known as "Blueberry," was charged Feb. 19 with bribing a witness. On Feb. 18, Borden allegedly tried to convince the witness of an alleged assault in the Jack in the Box parking lot to alter her statement of the incident. Borden allegedly had been assaulted by another Sequim man, who is facing assault charges. A Sequim Police report indicates Borden tried to convince the female to tell a different story than what happened, in particular to tell officials that there were no drugs involved.

Lloyd Iliff – Iliff, 68, of Sequim, was charged Feb. 18 with two counts of first-degree child molestation, one count of second-degree child molestation and three counts of second-degree incest. On Feb. 6, a 15-year-old female reported to Sequim Police that Iliff had sexually molested her in her youth. Her sister, a 16-year-old female, made similar reports of inappropriate touching on several occasions. Iliff was booked into jail but released soon after on his personal recognizance. He has pleaded not guilty at an arraignment hearing and will appear in court again in early April for a status hearing.

Jason Hartlein – A bench warrant was issued Feb. 19 for Hartlein, 30, of Sequim, for failure to appear in court. Sequim Police received a report on Nov. 19 that Hartlein received a prescription of four OxyContin, which he allegedly took to a library to photocopy. He then reportedly drove to the Sequim Safeway, where he tried to obtain extra doses of the narcotic. Hartlein allegedly admitted the offense to officers.

Holly Stuart – Stuart, 19, of Sequim, saw her case dismissed from Clallam County Superior Court Feb. 18. Stuart had faced the charge of failure to register as a sex offender. Court records show the case dismissed due to "it appearing that the dismissal in is the interest of justice."

Gail Smith – Smith, 39, of Sequim, is facing charges of first-degree child molestation, sexual exploitation of a minor, second-degree incest and dealing with depictions of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Videos that allegedly depict Smith and her daughter in sexually inappropriate interactions have been made available to both the prosecution and defense council for review. Prosecution indicated Feb. 19 that it will put forward a plea offer for Smith but no details were available. Smith has a status hearing March 6 and a trial date of April 6, although the date may be pushed back as attorneys review evidence and plea offers.
