Sunshine Café closes for holidays

Sunshine Café, 145 W. Washington St., closed on Halloween with plans to reopen on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022. Owners wrote on Facebook they’ll use the “time to revamp the menu, clean and reorganize our kitchen and give our staff a much needed break to celebrate the holidays with their families.”

Herbal classes set at Dandelion Botanical

Dandelion Botanical, 4681 Sequim Dungeness Way, offers herbal classes every Wednesday evening (except Thanksgiving Eve); times vary. Classes are taught by Bastyr graduate Lauren Morgan and Dandelion proprietor Kachi Cassinelli, a botanist and herbalist.

Palmer joins team at Evergreen Home Loans
