Clallam County officials are forming a committee to “find innovative housing solutions,” county commissioners announced last week.
On March 15, commissioners established a Housing Solutions Committee. The committee shall be responsible for developing programs to promote housing solutions, and will also make recommendations to commissioners and the Opportunity Fund Board.
The committee will include one voting member from each of the following:
• Clallam County commissioners
• Clallam County Department of Community Development Director
• City of Forks
• City of Port Angeles
• City of Sequim
• North Peninsula Building Association
• Sequim Realtors Association
• Port Angeles Realtors Association
• Peninsula Housing Authority
• Habitat for Humanity of Clallam County
• North Olympic Regional Veteran’s Housing Network
• Serenity House of Clallam County
• Peninsula Behavioral Health
• Olympic Community Action Programs (OlyCap)
• Healthy Families of Clallam County
• Port of Port Angeles
• Economic Development Council
• Tribal governments, and at-large.
