Neil Warren Clayton

December 25, 1943 – January 30, 2022

Neil passed away on January 30th after a short illness. He is survived by Sharon Clayton, his wife of 32 years. Daughter Amber, Son-in-law Shawn, and grandson Caleb and Son Scott.

Neil was born in Sequim, to Lester and Clarissa Clayton. He attended graduate school at the University of Washington receiving Master of Science degrees in Psychology and Sociology.

After serving in the U.S. Army, Neil dedicated his life to teaching and helping others. Through his love of teaching, he touched countless lives both in and away from the academic setting. He was always there for those in need.

He remained active in his later years; his favorite activity was “shooting hoops” with his grandson Caleb. He could also be seen regularly cruising through Sequim in his 3-wheeler. Neil was a genuine person who will be missed by those who knew and loved him. Isaiah 26:3
