Explore the connections between health and the environment through native tribe perspectives in this unique, free series sponsored by the House of Learning Longhouse and Peninsula College Instruction.

The schedule includes:

• Elder Elaine Grinnell of the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe speaks about native perspectives on health from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, in J-47 PUB Conference Room.

• Valerie Segrest of the Muckleshoot Tribe presents on health and tribal food sustainability projects from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, in J47 PUB Conference Room.

• Robert Elofson of the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe leads a tour and shares tribal perspectives on the historic Elwha River Restoration from 1:30-4 p.m. Tuesday, May 31. Transportation is available from Peninsula College to the restoration site on the river.
