A pedestrian was killed in Port Angeles Monday evening after she was struck by a vehicle on East First Street along US Highway 101.
According to the Washington State Patrol, Bonita N. Bickford, 49, of Port Angeles, was crossing the road at the 2000 block of East First Street when she was truck. Bickford was transported to Olympic Medical Center where she died.
According to the state patrol, Marlene T. Brand, 49, also of Port Angeles, was driving the 1988 Chevrolet Beretta that struck Bickford.
The collision is sill under investigation, but the patrol report indicates Brand is charged with vehicular homicide.
