All walkers are invited to join the Olympic Peninsula Explorers on Saturday, Sept. 13, for a walk to Marymere Falls.

The walk is five or 10 kilometers.Sign up is at the Fairmount Restaurant, 1127 Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles, WA, from 8:45-9 a.m. Car pool to Marymere Falls after signing up.

The walk is through old growth forest up to a 90-foot waterfalls, returning along Lake Crescent with views of the Olympic Mountains. No pets are allowed and the trail is not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs.

Event organizers say items you may want to bring include sturdy walking shoes, walking sticks, water and camera. Maps will be Provided.
