PC accepting nomination for Hall of Fame

The Peninsula College Hall of Fame Committee is now accepting nominations through Monday, Oct. 31, for its’ next induction ceremony, planned for the spring of 2023.

Members of the college, the community, and Pirate alumni are invited to nominate individuals or teams who have made outstanding contributions to Peninsula College Athletics. The nomination criteria and form is available at gopcpirates.com under PC Athletics Hall of Fame.

The HOF selection committee will meet in November to determine the inductees that will be celebrated in May or June, college officials said; that committee is made up of PC athletic staff, community members and alumni.

Pirate Athletics holds its’ Hall of Fame event every other year, but missed a year due to the pandemic. The most recent inductees from the 2021 celebration included the 2012-2013 men’s and women’s soccer teams along with long-time basketball scorekeeper Bill Peterson.
