Margarethe U Purviance

July 14, 1946- March 16, 2023

Margarethe Ursula Purviance of Port Angeles moved to Heaven on March 16, 2023 after a battle with cancer. She was 76 years old.

She was born in Germany on July 14, 1946. She married Boone E. Cameron in Germany in 1965 and moved to Sequim. She married Duane Purviance in 1995 of Port Townsend and they lived in Port Angeles.

She came to know and follow Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior about 40 years ago and she reflected his gentleness, love, servant heart and loyalty for her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her older brother, Alfred Herrmann of Port Angeles, her parents of Germany. She is survived by her husband, Duane Purviance of Port Angeles. Her children: daughter, Katherine (and Jerry) Drovdahl of Portugal, her sons Michael (and Barbara) Cameron and D. Brian (and Misty) Cameron both of Port Angeles.

There will be a service for her at Eastern Hills Community Church, Saturday April 15th at 1pm.
