Donald C. Williams

July 10, 1939-November 12, 2022

Donald C. Williams passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the age of 83. He was born in Sterling, Colorado in 1939 and at an early age relocated to Milwaukie, Oregon.

Don served in the US Coast Guard on the USCGC Wachusett and in the US Army, retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer CW5 after a distinguished 45-year career.

After retiring, Don enjoyed playing chess, building computers and the lively fellowship of a number of organizations.

Don and his wife, Margaret, were married for 37 years. Don is survived by his wife Margaret, daughters Cynthia (Robert) and Carol and son Bill (Miho). He is lovingly remembered by his brother Gary, sister Oneta, four grandchildren, one great granddaughter and comrades-in-arms Samuel Cabrera and Sal Palazzola.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the Sequim Masonic Lodge, 700 S. 5th Ave, Sequim, WA at 1 pm.

Tom passed away from this life and to his enteral home on Saturday, April 1, 2023 in Sequim, Washington. He was a beloved son, brother, husband, uncle, great-uncle,father, and trusted friend who was greeted in heaven by his parents, brother, wife and so many others.

Tom was born on May 7, 1948 in Fort Sam Houston, Texas, to become part of a large family of five siblings and two amazing parents, a life which could be best described as close-knit, boisterous, and happily chaotic.

After lengthy careers in Sacramento, California, Tom, and the love of his life and bride of 34 yrs, Charlotte moved to Sequim in 2004 and built a beautiful home and gardens, close to the ocean shores.

Tom’s Christian faith was an essential part of his life. Together with his faith family at Dungeness Community Church, Tom sought to know, love, serve, and follow Jesus. He was a faithful man who loved his family, church, and community. He touched the lives of many people in and around Sequim with his kindness, compassion, help, and humor. Our memories of our brother Tom were full of summer fun every year when we visited him.

His circle of friends was his world in Sequim and the surrounding townships. His cherished wife, Charlotte, put the compassion, beauty, and love into their new home in 2004. Charlotte passed away in 2019 after battling cancer, a huge loss to both her family and Tom’s.

Tom’s excelled in everything he did, especially fishing. He could frequently be found with one of his many impressive fishing rods and reels at Port Williams, the Dungeness River, and Ediz Hook and often times in his boat with his lifelong friend, Paul Clark, and during annual family excursions at sea. He rarely missed an opportunity to wet a line – and his friend retold the sight of him being seen at the water’s edge one day, sitting in the snow with his pole.

Tom and Charlotte lived here and made it their final journey surrounded by the Olympic Peninsula and the people they dearly loved.

Services will be held at Dungeness Community Church and on, Saturday, June 10 th , at 11:00 a.m. Tom’s brothers and sisters extend our gratitude for the love and compassion that Tom’s dear friends showered on him for many years, and especially the last month of his life.

Tom is survived by his daughter Amy, brothers Mike and Paul, sisters Patty, and Kathy and her husband, Rick; Sister-in-Law, Jane and her family; nephew Erick, and his family; niece Lindsay and her family.

You will be remembered as a happy and selfless man, Tom, one who was loved by many.

We miss you so very much, brother. Fair winds and following seas as we bid you goodbye.

Bonnie Anne Filder

Bonnie Anne Filder of Port Angeles died of age-related causes at her Port Angeles home, with her children by her side, on April 21, 2023.

She was 91.

Fidler was born April 13, 1932.

At her prior request, there will be no public services.
