Lorrie Jean Crim

November 22, 1950 – May 4, 2023

Lorrie Jean Crim of Sequim, Washington, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, May 4, 2023. She was 72.

Born November 22, 1950, in Tacoma, Washington, Lorrie was the first child of Phillip and Addie (Young) Campbell. She graduated from Puyallup High School in 1969, then went on to obtain her nursing degree becoming an RN, specializing in Oncology.

She was an RN for over 40 years, spending 25 years at Virginia Mason in Seattle, time at The Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ, and was the first Oncology nurse at the Sequim Cancer Center. She cared lovingly for a countless number of patients throughout her career while providing them and their families with support and kindness during difficult times.

Lorrie and her husband Mike were married in October of 2007 on Sequim Bay. The normally rough waters of the fall held steady just for them and gave way to a beautiful day for their celebration of love. It was one of many perfect days that the couple shared.

Lorrie had a penchant for online shopping and sometimes forgot to open the packages. She loved her Seattle sports teams and provided colorful coaching feedback from her couch on game days. She adored her beagles Sally and Roxie, even with all their mischievous behavior, and would talk about them with anyone who would listen. Her pups were second only to her human grandchildren, which were the lights of her life.

Lorrie is survived by her husband of 16 years, Mike; her children Cindi, Jason and Carly; Mother Addie; sisters Beth and Julee (husband Mike) and her brother Joe. Other survivors include six grandchildren, Samantha, Peyton, Kyan, Aislyn, Brooklyn and Bailey.

She was preceded in death by her father, Phillip and her brother David.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the John Wayne Marina in Sequim on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please bring your favorite dish if you are able, and your best stories and tales about Lorrie. Her family looks forward to celebrating her life with everyone.

Terri (Anderson) Winters

Terri (Anderson) Winters passed away unexpectedly on April 29, 2023 at the age of 64, surrounded by her husband, Greg, and loving family members.

Terri was born October 9th, 1958 in mount Vernon, WA to Larry and Barbara Anderson. The first of 3 girls who all had a love of horses. Terri started riding, showing, and rodeoing at a young age, beginning on her favorite pony, “Frosty”. As she grew through the ranks off horses, her events also grew, which included 4-H, fairs, rodeos (which she was rodeo queen), and local and national level horse shows. Her most memorable show was showing at the Novice Quarter Horse Wold Show in Las Vegas with her homegrown horse “Malibu” winning multiple awards.

Terri married the love of her life, Greg Winters, in August 1999. They built their dream home in Port Angeles, where she was able to open and operate her hair salon business, “Terri’s Hair Salon”. Greg and Terri enjoyed traveling and attended the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas for over 20 years together. Terri loved the closeness of family and being able to be involved in their activities.

Terri was very proud of her son, Jeremy, and operating her own salon allowed her to support, travel, and be actively involved as he was growing up. She would take him to 4-H events, Future Farmers of America, horse shows, and to school equestrian meets. During Jeremy’s high school years, Terri was one of the founding people who organized, established, and started the state high school equestrian team events for Washington State. Terri continued to be head coach for Sequim, even after Jeremy graduated, coaching her nephew, Cody Chase, and the Sequim team from 2007 to 2015. She became “Momma T” to many kids throughout the years.

Terri instilled strong work ethics and was so proud when Jeremy purchased and started his own log trucking business, but her greatest accomplishment was when Jeremy and LeAnne made her a Grandma.

“Glamma T” to Aiden and Mathew, they were her pride and joy. She enjoyed spending time with them, making numerous memories on the farm or going on various other adventures.

Terri loved her family and friends, which was visible to all who knew her. She had a zest to keep things interesting (and BLINGED UP…). She will be incredibly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Greg Winters, her son, Jeremy, and his wife LeAnne Johnstad, grandsons, Aiden and Matthew, sister, Tina (Tim) Johnson, Sister Lisa (Lee) Hopper, her nephew, Cody Chase, and many others who called her “Mom”.

A celebration of life will be held on June 3, 2023 at 11:00 at the Carrie Park Guy Cole Convention Center (144 N Blake Avenue, Sequim, WA 98382).
