My name is Megan Rogers and I am the new intern at the Gazette. I am studying media and journalism with a minor in technical writing at Central Washington University, and just finished my junior year there.

I have worked on my school’s paper, The Observer, for a year as a staff reporter, senior reporter, assistant news editor and news editor.

Outside of journalism, I enjoy training and playing with my dog as well as reading.

While I am originally from Gig Harbor, I am excited to learn more about Sequim and see what this town has to offer.
