After a successful first event in 2022, the Peninsula ART Friends is hosting its second art faire from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, in the Judith McInnes Tozzer Gallery at Sequim Museum & Arts, 544 N. Sequim Ave.
Their art includes pottery, floral silk paintings/scarves, fused glass/wire-wrapped jewelry, woodworking, original paintings/prints, greeting cards, sculptures and miniatures.
Art donated by the artists will be raffled off to support the Olympic Peninsula Art Association youth scholarship fund and Sequim Museum & Arts.
Art fans can meet the artists during the First Friday Art Walk at an artist reception at Sequim Museum & Arts from 5-8 p.m. on Sept. 1. In addition, Sequim Museum & Arts will be displaying the group’s art throughout the month of September.
Club members said they started the the event in 2022 to encourage tourists to visit Sequim during the Labor Day weekend and support local businesses and local artists after a the two-year Covid-19 pandemic quarantine.
