Concert benefits Food Bank
A concert from 5-9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4 at the Sequim Elks Lodge, 143 Port Williams Road, Sequim, benefits the Sequim Food Bank. Performers include The Sequim Fiddlers, Jason Paul, FarmStrong, Jean Lenke, The OG Band and more.
Admission is by donation with light refreshments, a cash bar, and attendees can bring their own dinner.

Monday Musicale sets concert fundraiser
The Monday Musical group hosts its Fall 2023 Scholarship Benefit Concert at 2p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5, at Holy trinity Lutheran Church, 301 E. Lopez Ave., Port Angeles.
The concert includes: classical pianist Dawn Martin; county and western musicians Jim Hoffman and Friends; classical violist Tyrone Beatty and pianist/composer Mark Johnson; and, pianist/composer Linda Dowdell and jazz-folk vocalist Jean Lenke.
Tickets are $15 and available at Pacific Mist Books, 121 W. Washington St., and Port Book & News, 104 E. First St., Port Angeles. Or, a $20 donation at the door.
Funds raised go to provide scholarships for local high school students to pursue their music studies.
Food, beverage vendors sought for Sunshine Fest
The City of Sequim is now accepting applications for food and beverage vendors to participate in the 2024 Sequim Sunshine Festival on Saturday, March 2, 2024.
Food vendors will be located outside the Guy Cole Event Center in Carrie Blake Community Park with electrical power available.
Applications can be found on the City of Sequim Tourism website visitsunnysequim.com. Applications can be sent by email to pdashiell@sequimwa.gov or mailed to the Sequim Civic Center Attention: Sequim Sunshine Festival, 152 W. Cedar St., Sequim, WA, 98382. The deadline for applications is Thursday, November 30, 2023. Applications will be reviewed, and applicants notified in early December.
The festival, now in its fifth year, is designed to celebrate the end of the winter and the coming of the spring and summer seasons.
