Elsa Ann (Tuttle) Damon

August 28, 1929 – October 17, 2023

Elsa Ann (Tuttle) Damon of Sequim, Washington passed away peacefully on October 17, 2023 at her home of Natural Causes. She was 94.

Elsa was born August 28, 1929 in Brookline, Massachusetts to Albert Edward and Mildred Georgianna Dagmar Sophia (Kirkegaard) Tuttle. On September 9, 1950 she married Edward Kennan Damon in Arlington, Massachusetts.

Elsa attended secretarial school at Katharine Gibbs College and worked as the Secretary to the President of Highlights Magazine for Children in Columbus, Ohio.

Elsa is survived by her sons Richard Smith (Barbara Wood) Damon and Thomas Winslow Damon; three grandchildren, Robert Michael Damon, Heath Philip Damon and Sarah Marie Damon and three great grandchildren, Emry Winslow Damon, Megan Damon and Madison Damon.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Damon in 2016; both parents; sisters Mary Clair Louise (Tuttle) Klein and Mildred Priscilla “Betty” (Tuttle) Elliott; brother Albert Henry “Brud” Tuttle; brother in-laws William Dick Klein, Jr. and Harold King Elliott; sister in-law Constance Giuliano; daughter in-law Cynthia Etaugh (Thomas) Damon and grandson Jed Robert Damon.

Elsa’s urn will be inurned at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Concord Massachusetts.
