WOW! radio forum to spotlight ‘Wellness Found in the Olympic Mountains’

Learn about how to find fitness and health outdoors from Olympic National Park volunteer Tim Paschal at the next free WOW! Working on Wellness radio forum, set for 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, on KSQM 91.5 FM.

He will present “Wellness Found in the Olympic Mountains.”

Paschal grew up in Bremerton and has enjoyed the beauty and challenges of the Olympic’s wilderness in all seasons and conditions. Since he moved to Sequim he has volunteered for 15 years at the Olympic National Park Visitor Center, helping people from across the world find hikes and viewing sites, no matter the weather conditions.

Paschal said he wants to help people understand how to prepare for and maintain their health before, during and after hiking in the Olympic Wilderness.

WOW! Working on Wellness is a health education program of Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic — Sequim’s free clinic.

The Basic Urgent Care Clinic is open to patients on Monday and Thursdays beginning at 4:30 p.m. Individuals interested in supporting the clinic may call 360-582-0218.
