Join Olympic Peninsula Explorers this Saturday, May 30, for the Fort Warden Cappy Trails walk.

This walk is a 5- or 10-kilometer walk at your own pace. This walk is free unless you wish credit from the AVA (American Volkssporter Association).

All walkers must sign up at the Subway Restaurant, 1300 Water St., Port Townsend, between 9:15-9:30 a.m. The 10-kilometer walk is a series of Cappy Trails through residential areas of Port Townsend. This walk also includes a visit to several of the batteries on Artillery Hill at Fort Warden STate Park.

The 5-kilometer is entirely in Fort Warden State Park and is okay for baby joggers. Restrooms are available at start point/finish and in the park.
