Strait from the Artists Studio Tour puts out call for art

Organizers from the third Strait from the Artists Studio Tour are calling for art and artists as they prepare their annual event slated for early November.

The Strait from the Artists Studio Tour, scheduled this year for Nov. 9-10, is a self-guided, free and open to the public, tour of multiple artist studios and exhibition spaces from along the inspiring Strait of Juan de Fuca, which includes the Sequim and Port Angeles “cultural corridors,” event organizers say.

Attendees can visit, view, and learn directly from the artists about their diverse creative processes and the imaginative community-minded efforts of their work.

Deadline for art submittals is Tuesday, July 30. Apply at straitfromtheartists.com/apply.

Applications require a $40 per artist fee.

Tour organizers aim to inform artists before Thursday, Aug. 1.
