The recently formed Local Food Access Network (L-FAN) sponsors a community discussion on “Bountiful Clallam — Local Folks Discuss Local Fare” from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Nourish, 1345 Sequim Ave., Sequim.
Its mission is to connect consumers with the benefits of locally produced foods and services. Clea Rome will inform participants of the recent developments and issues facing producers, engage in a discussion to help understand the importance of a sustainable agricultural industry here in Clallam County, and suggest what can be done to support this effort.
Participants may come early to order locally produced organic food from Nourish’s kitchen. Tuesday night is Taco Night. For more information, contact Carrol Hull at 683-5199 or cahull@msn.com.
