Soroptimist International of Sequim recently awarded its Continuing Education Scholarships. Scholarships were awarded to four Sequim area women; Jennifer Landoni, Cathleen O’Connell, Moriah Vogel-Seaton and Jennifer Weir.

Sequim High School’s 2016 Homecoming king and queen are Grant Pierson and Sydney Balkan. The couple, along with prince/princess Shaun Jones Jr. and Mercedes Woods, duke/duchess Andre Juntilla and Dana Nguyen and underclassmen royalty were honored during halftime of SHS’s football game against North Mason on Oct. 7.
