Sound Community Bank recently presented a check to the Peninsula College Foundation in support of the foundation’s upcoming appearance by celebrated radio host Bob Edwards.

Edwards brings his trademark delivery, observations and wry sense of humor to Port Angeles and the rest of the Olympic Peninsula on Thursday, Oct. 2, when the Peninsula College Foundation hosts its 16th American Conversations.
This year’s event includes a sit-down dinner, followed by an engaging conversation with Edwards. Edwards is the former host of NPR’s “Morning Edition” and co-host of “All Things Considered.” He also has hosted “Bob Edwards Weekend” distributed by Public Radio International and “The Bob Edwards Show” on Sirius XM Radio and is a Peabody Award-winning member of the National Radio Hall of Fame.
