Standard and Poor’s Rating Services has raised Clallam County PUD #1’s rating from “A” to “A+.”

The upgrade is for the PUD’s 2008 insured electric system revenue bonds and includes an outlook of “stable,” according to S&P, because “of a history of sound financial performance; the capacity to provide sound financial coverage of financial obligations added in 2010; and long-term power supply arrangements.”
