Stylist joins The Salon

Laura Bouy now works as an independent hair stylist at The Salon at The Landing Mall, located on the waterfront in Port Angeles. Previously at the Hairsmith, Bouy is at The Salon from 11 a.m-5 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and by appointment on Saturday. Walk-ins are welcome. For an appointment, call 360-461-9539.

Thrift Shop opens Saturday

The Sequim-Dungeness Hospital Thrift Shop, 204 W. Bell St., will be open from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, June 2, with a half-price sale on all white-tagged items. The shop invites volunteers; call 683-7044.

Practitioner offers Eden Energy Medicine classes

Port Angeles massage therapist/energy medicine practitioner Kelmie Blake Spires offers Eden Energy Medicine Foundations Classes, a one-year program covering the fundamentals of Eden Energy Medicine, beginning Thursday, June 7, in Port Angeles. The program consists of four long weekends of hands-on training and at-home supervised practice. 

Those who wish to become certified may continue on to a second year in the program. Continuing Education Credits are available.
