Wind Rose release benefits MAC

Wind Rose Cellars’ release of its 2010 Hunter’s Red, dedicated to the 1977 Manis Mastodon find, also is a fundraiser for the Museum & Arts Center in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley, with 10 percent of sales donated to the MAC. Wind Rose Cellars, 155 W. Cedar St., Sequim, is open 1-7 p.m. Friday-Saturday and 1-4 p.m. Sunday.

 

 

October events spotlight genetically modified organisms

Nash’s Farm Store, 4681 Sequim-Dungeness Way, celebrates the third annual non-GMO month with free public events designed to clarify the issue of genetically modified organisms in the food supply.
