Estate preservation workshop set

On Saturday, May 12, the Port Angeles Farmers Market hosts its second annual Decadent Dessert Silent Auction and Fundraiser to help raise funds for ongoing market operations. McComb Gardens, 751 McComb Road, Sequim, has changed to spring/summer hours: The nursery and its botanical display gardens are open from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. every day.
McFall joins Gellor Insurance as partner
Michelle McFall has become an owner/partner with Gellor Insurance Inc. and will head up marketing and sales for the firm. A Port Angeles native, she has 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. She served with Gellor previously as Sequim office manager and as personal lines manager and also was an appraiser for Clallam County.
Gellor has offices in Sequim (248 W. Washington St.) and Port Angeles.
Nash’s Farm Store accepts EBT
Nash’s Farm Store, 4681 Sequim-Dungeness Way, now accepts Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards for the Basic Food Program. EBT cards work like debit cards and have replaced the Food Stamps program. Visit www.dshs.wa.gov/default.shtm for more about the program. Nash’s Farm Store is open 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday.
First Federal prizes at Nationwide Open House
Ron and Norma Shaeffer won the Sequim Open House Weekend gift basket, in the drawing for the North Olympic Peninsula Nationwide Open House Event in April. Ed Sumpter of Blue Sky Realty received a $50 gift certificate to the Moon Palace restaurant in a separate drawing for location hosts. Both prizes were provided by First Federal.
Ayala Farms joins market
Ayala Farms has joined the Port Angeles Farmers Market at the Gateway Pavilion on Front and Lincoln streets. With land in the Yakima Valley, Ayala Farms provides fruits and vegetables that can’t be grown in Clallam County. The Farmers Market is open Saturdays year-round from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
