Dockside closed on holiday

Dockside Grill on Sequim Bay, 2577 West Sequim Bay Road, will be closed Wednesday, July 4. The restaurant’s regular hours are Wednesday-Sunday, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and 4-9 p.m. Call 683-7510.

Safeway backs prostate research

A limited-edition, reusable shopping bag embossed with the words “It starts with a wish; it can end with a cure” is available for purchase at all Safeway locations nationwide. Proceeds go to prostate cancer research as part of a program the Safeway Foundation has launched with the nonprofit Stand Up to Cancer. Shoppers also may donate at checkout stands.

Gross completes energy training

First Federal adds board member

Cindy Finnie, co-owner and president of Rainshadow Properties Inc., has been elected to the board of directors of First Federal. 

A retired insurance executive with many years of financial services experience, Finnie also has co-managed a Port Townsend-based hotel and property management company for 17 years.
