Conditioning program available
Anytime Fitness is holding its summer PeakSPEED Camp from 2:30-3:30 p.m. July 21-24. Certified strength and conditioning specialist Kenny Hall will be designing programs to develop the fundamentals of running and agility with an emphasis on athletic conditioning and core/strength training. New therapist joins center
Sequim Physical Therapy Center has hired physical therapist Britton Moss. He holds a master’s degree in physical therapy from Louisiana State University. He is a board-certified specialist in orthopedic physical therapy. Moss also is a certified strength and conditioning specialist.

Social Security talk set
The New York Life Insurance Company is presenting a special session directed at Maximizing Social Security. The presentation will be at the LARC Gallery, 425 E. Washington St. in Sequim, from 1:30-2:30 Tuesday, July 29, followed by Q & A.

The Lodge marks anniversary
The Lodge and Cottages at Sherwood Village invite the public to an open house from 2-4 p.m. Thursday, July 17, to mark their ninth anniversary. There will be music, desserts, treats, prize drawings and apartment and cottage tours. The Lodge at Sherwood Village is at 660 Evergreen Farm Way, Sequim.
Chamber networking group begins
In order to offer deeper networking opportunities for business owners, particularly for (but certainly not limited to) those in service-oriented industries, the Sequim-Dungeness Chamber of Commerce has started a semi-monthly networking breakfast. Members will meet on the first and third Thursdays for 90 minutes when they will have a chance to talk about his/her product or service in detail, and ask questions of the other participants.

Wine/picnic benefit symphony
The release of the Port Angeles Symphony’s first wine — Rhapsody in Red, created by Camaraderie Cellars — will debut at “A Bach’s Picnic,” at Camaraderie Cellars, 334 Benson Road, Port Angeles, at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8. Ticket prices for the wine are $24.50 per bottle with a 10-percent discount for case (12 bottles for $265). The picnic is $75 per person. Reservations required, only 13 places left.
