The cold weather clothing will be distributed to area veterans in need of such clothing during the winter months. Quilcene gallery opens for special sale

The Olympic Art Gallery in Quilcene will participate in Small Business Saturday, set for 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29. The gallery, normally open by appointment only or for the Olympic Art Festival, will showcase gifts that specialize in nature and wildlife objects created by Northwest artists. Varied items for sale include copper and metal sculptures, hand-turned bowls and jewelry boxes, all sizes scroll saw art pieces including ornaments, several kinds of jewelry, photography, watercolors, Raku and ceramic pieces, scratch board art and more.
