Reiki for pets
Best Friend Nutrition will be hosting another event in its 2016 Talented Friends of Pets speaker series at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, with Reiki master Josslyn Streett, presenting “Healing Your Pets and You with Reiki.” The event is free but the public needs to reserve a seat by calling 681-8458 with voice mail available 24/7. A drawing will be held for a free energy healing session with Streett and attendees will receive a 10-percent off coupon for shopping on Aug. 6. Stratton qualified to teach yoga instructors
Fit4Life Studio Hatha Yoga instructor, Shelley Stratton, can now teach professional yoga instructors for their CEU’s (Continuing Education Units) as well as do workshops for students. She has 1,000-plus hours as a yoga teacher now at the E-RYT-200 (Experienced Yoga Teacher Alliance) level. The highest level for the Yoga Alliance is Eryt-500. Stratton has been practicing yoga since 2008. She also is a CES (Cancer Exercise Specialist), Personal Trainer and has a Healing Touch Certification. Fit4Life Studio is at 1245 W. Vision Works receives patent
On July 28, Vision Works of Sequim has been assigned a patent (9,395,699) developed by Alfred S. Braunberger for an ”invention relates to timing systems, temperature indicators and visual indicators and devices and methods for making the same,” according to the United States Patent Office.
