Blue Sage earns lead-based paint renovations certificate

Blue Sage Property Management of Sequim has obtained the federally-approved certificate for lead-based paint renovations, the business announced in early February.

“This certification demonstrates our commitment to providing safe and compliant renovations for properties that may contain lead-based paint,” company representatives noted in a press release on Feb. 3.

Blue Sage is now the only certified property management company in Clallam County, according to owner Kathryn MacGeraghty.

MacGeraghty and her handyman/contractor both took the certification class on Feb. 1.

“We understand the importance of providing safe and healthy living spaces for our clients, and obtaining this certification is a major step in achieving that goal,” MacGeraghty said.
