Manager promotions at Holiday Inn Express
Wirta Hospitality, owner of Sequim’s Holiday Inn Express, Quality Inn and Black Bear Diner has promoted three of its managers.
Namaste Stayton, general manager of the Holiday Inn Express, was promoted to vice president of hotel operations. Stayton has worked in hospitality on the Olympic Peninsula for the past 10 years and brings “proven hotel leadership skills in every aspect, from revenue management and sales to brand awareness and industry trends,” Wirta Hospitality CEO Bret Wirta said.
Chris Lewis, assistant manager of the Holiday Inn Express, will take Stayton’s place as general manager. Since 2016, Lewis has led most departments within the hotel, playing a significant role in shepherding his staff through the pandemic and related hospitality challenges, Wirta said.
John Mollinet will assume the newly created position of office and sales manager at the Holiday Inn Express.
Mollinet has worked for Wirta Hospitality for the past 12 years, beginning with his career as a night auditor up to his most recent position of regional sales manager.
