Acupuncture clinic opens in Carlsborg

Randy Sorenson, currently providing acupuncture at Sorensen Chiropractic and the Shipley Center, is opening a new “Community Acupuncture” clinic in Carlsborg, at 31 Valley Center Place just south of U.S. Highway 101 off Hooker Road.

With advanced training in orthopedics, geriatrics and sports medicine, Sorenson aims to provide safe and affordable acupuncture to Olympic Peninsula residents, provided in recliners in a living room-like setting.

As an introductory special during June, Sorenson Acupuncture – Community Acupuncture will provide free a first acupuncture for online scheduling.

Visitor Bureau grant deadline is Friday, June 3

The Olympic Peninsula Visitor Bureau is seeking applications for the remaining $5,400 in its Tourism Enhancement Grant Fund.

In this third round, applications are due Friday, June 3, for consideration at the June 15 meeting.
