OMC specialist gains certification
Olympic Medical Center Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation’s Lisa Hu earned certification as a pelvic rehabilitation practitioner this winter.
Hu, a physical therapist, has been with Olympic Medical as a general practice physical therapist since January 2003.
Hu’s expertise provides a valuable service to patients of all ages suffering from pelvic pain, urinary or fecal incontinence and constipation.

Geiger trained in pain relief

Polizzi now nationally certified
Nora Polizzi, co-owner of the yarn shop A Dropped Stitch, 136 S. Second Ave., Sequim, recently returned from completing courses in advanced knitting techniques at the Madrona Fiber Arts Conference in Tacoma. Polizzi currently is the only nationally certified advanced knitting instructor on the North Olympic Peninsula. Call 683-1410 for more information.
New on the bidet block
Clear Water Bidets, 71 Ruth’s Place Ste. 8, Carlsborg, is a new business owned by Robert and Josslyn Streett, which promotes the medical, environmental and personal benefits of toilet seat bidets. These bidet seats replace the existing toilet seat and turn an ordinary toilet into a personal hygiene center. Robert Streett is available to speak to groups on the variety of bidets currently available, the uses, installation and care of toilet seat bidets and demonstrate the various features of modern bidet seats.

Dentist opens new practice
James S. Emerson, DDS, formerly of the Jamestown Family Dental Clinic, has opened a new dental practice in Sequim. He is a board-certified prosthodontist specializing in all aspects of restorative dentistry and implant prosthodontic treatment. His office is at 555 N.
