Employees raise $700
On Nov. 10, Sequim Health & Rehab raised money for the American Red Cross but more specifically for the Washington firefighters and families that were affected by the fires. There were two types of fundraisers; one was blue jean Friday. Anyone that wore jeans on Friday had to throw a dollar in the pot.
The other was three raffle baskets: They were sold for a dollar a ticket or $20 for 25 tickets. The baskets were open to the community, residents and their family members and employees. The total amount raised and sent off to the American Red Cross was $700.
