The Sequim Farmers & Artisans Market opened its 2024 season on Saturday in a joint ribbon cutting with the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Vendors and community members gathered for the ceremony with Operations Manager Christopher Hamilton cutting the ribbon.
The market opens 9 a.m.-2 p.m. each Saturday through Oct. 29 at the Sequim Civic Center Plaza, 152 W. Cedar St., and Centennial Place in downtown Sequim.
Hamilton said they have 47 vendors signed up for the season, and that newcomers are always welcome. He added that potential vendors don’t need to sign up for each Saturday, and anyone interested should go to sequimmarket.com.
The market features at least 10 first-time vendors this year, and new activities each week for children, Hamilton said.
